Paid links and disclosures
Shop links on ptakaro do not earn us a commission today. If that changes, those links will be labelled “Paid link”, and they will never change the order of prices or what we say.
Paid links
No shop pays us a commission at the moment, so no link on ptakaro is a paid link. If a shop starts paying us for sales made through “Go to shop”, its links will be marked Paid link next to the button, they will tell search engines that they are sponsored, and the shop will be listed here.
What money never changes
- Offers are always sorted by price, lowest first, never by commission.
- The “from” price, price history, rivals and best lists are worked out the same way for every shop.
- Verdicts are written by named editors; shops and brands cannot see or change them.
- Shops cannot pay to hide a competitor's lower price or to be listed as PTA-approved.
How shop links work
Every “Go to shop” link passes through ptakaro.com/go/ before it reaches the shop. That lets us count clicks per shop and send you only to the shop address we checked. What we record for each click is set out in our privacy policy.
Ads and sponsorship
There are no display ads on ptakaro today. If we add featured places for shops or brand sponsorships, they will be labelled, kept in their own block, and will never reorder prices or touch verdicts. This page will list them.
